Sony vs Nintendo

The President of Sony Computer Entertainment US seems to think that a price cut induced sales boost justifies taking a swipe at the Nintendo…

They are touting casual gaming. Supposedly everybody is going to race over to casual games. The unfortunate thing is the fruits of those labors will show up two years down the road, and if the consumer tastes shift, they will find themselves all dressed up with no place to go. Link

Given that the Wii is outselling the PS3 nearly 4 to 1 in the states I don’t think Nintendo US will be doing much more than laughing at his ‘analysis’!

Smug ‘I’ve just won the bidding on an item on eBay’ grin

It’s true, been tracking this item for a few weeks now, always been pipped at the post but lucky for me I was. Tonight I won it at roughly £70 cheaper than the last time I bid for it and £270 cheaper than it’s retail cost!

All will be revealed once I’ve determined that I’ve not been ripped off, the item arrived and is actually working (gulp…).
