Flattery Will Get You Everywhere

November 8, 2007

I admit it, I’m easily flattered; stroke my ego and I’ll juice you up good with compliments, free beer and the contents of other people’s wallets.

It’s for that reason (and you know because I like the guy, he’s committed, believes in the medium and he writes a very good blog) that I’m adding Bloggerheads to my highly exclusive blogroll.

It’s an honour few receive and even fewer appreciate (mainly because my traffic levels are so lame it does them no good) but it is an honour none the less…

Join the Conspiracy

November 5, 2007

A new political super blog with serious ambition has been launched today: Liberal Conspiracy.

Founded by Sunny Hundal it brings together a potent mix of bloggers, academics, think tanks and campaigners all with a liberal/left outlook.

It’s never been done before which means either great success or failure, I believe it will be the former.

Most of us believe in freedom, transparency, human rights, democracy and the public good. But somehow that isn’t what we usually end up with.

The contributors to this website are dedicated to bridging that gap: by developing, shaping and spreading liberal-left ideas and values in Britain. We make no apologies for our mission.

Very agreeable, so on to the blogroll it goes!

Sam has a blog!

October 8, 2007

My friend and colleague Samantha has a new blog and you can read it here. She’s one of the most thoughtful and observant people I know (no shock given she’s works in the devils trade of journalism but we wont hold that against her) and I’m sure it’ll make for some interesting reading.

Google Docs in Plain English

September 18, 2007

It’s an advert but an excellent video to explain why Google Docs (and any collaborative word processing web site) is so useful.
