Done and Dusted

Finally, all my work is done; I’ve tied up all loose ends, filed all my documents and finished all correspondence.

Christmas has finally arrived!

It’s the end of the year as we know it…

And I feel…like I’m getting ill….crap. Hopefully it wont spoil my drinking plans for Christmas.

Evel Knievel RIP

Hands up if you’re over 30 and wanted to be Evel Knievel when you were a kid?

If so the sad news that the legendary daredevil is gone forever will have a certain kind of effect on you. It’s like you’ve realised how much time has passed by the childhood hereos who’ve met their demise…a generation mourns the loss of another.

Only the good die young…

George Bush: alive. Tony Blair: alive. Ringlevio? Dead…there’s something wrong with the world today.

I met Ringlevio* a few times (back in the old TACT social days at the Foundry mainly); I remember him dancing samba at one of the Stop the War demos and once at an early Offline.

Sadly news comes of his passing today, he’s survived by his daughter and grandchild. I don’t think there’s much else I can add…

Back in Blighty; been away for two lovely weeks in Barbados. I’ve got a slight tan (I take an age to brown up), a load of rum, 540 photographs to upload and a longing to return as soon as my leave resets next April and my bank balance can tolerate the expenditure!
