Prime Minister Brown goes YouTube

I tend to wince at the thought of politicians using social media; even though I’d like more of them to engage in new ways with the electorate they seem incapable of coming across human too often.

Incredibly Gordon Brown, someone known for his dour disposition, looks almost human in his first ‘Ask The PM’.

He gets a bit wooden when he rolls off his lines but outside of that he comes across sincere, nearly relaxed and, dare I say it, normal.
