Digg 3.0: beyond tech news, finally!

I’ve always liked Digg but found it’s strict focus on tech etc a bit limiting. I wanted a site just like it that you could submit other types of news stories too.

Well, I’ve found it and it’s Digg! They’ve added a bunch of stuff but, for me, most importantly you can now submit pretty much anything news related. A clear and easy way for them to head off the competition.

Digg and it’s copycats

The excellent Stuart's Soapbox wants everyone to know about the Labour movements answer to Digg. It's certainly taken the Labour lot some time to embrace the newness that is Web 2.0 but better late than never.

If only there was a UK based Digg type site for political stories in general rather than this strictly partisan effort. I guess for now I'm stuck with Netscapes Digg rip off
